There will be multiple opportunities for the public and local veterans to gather in commemoration of Veterans Day.

According to the Cheboygan County Veterans Services, this year’s schedule has area events beginning on Nov. 9 and continuing on Nov. 11.

On Nov. 9, there will be a Veterans Day Dinner at the K of C Hall. Doors open at 3 p.m., the ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. and the dinner is at 4 p.m. Veterans can attend for free. One guest is $15 and kids age 12 and under are $10. You can call to order a to-go meal or to preregister additional guests at 231-818-8477.
