WHITEHALL, MI - Hanson Hill Waterfront Grill opened in the fall of 2024 to offer cuisine that goes beyond what meets the eye.
Owner Patrick Nulty told MLive/The Muskegon Chronicle it’s his first venture into real entrepreneurship. The restaurant at 115 N Mears Ave. in Whitehall was formerly known as Mylan’s Waterfront Grill before he took over.
“I really decided to take this on because I moved back to Whitehall,” Nulty said. “It’s the town I grew up in, and I wanted to be involved in my local area and in my community.”
The namesake for the eatery, “Hanson Hill,” is inspired by a childhood memory made at the bottom of Hanson Street.
For Nulty, it’s a way to give back to the community after several years of different owners trying to find an identity for the restaurant space.
