SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the weekend! Another major cold air mass will move through the ArkLaTex later this weekend, causing us to feel the coolest air of the season so far! For today, temperatures rise back to the upper 70s and lower 80s across the region with sunshine and southerly winds.
Going into tonight, the skies remain mostly clear as the new air mass pushes through. Winds may gust to around 30 mph through the day on Sunday, with winds sustaining around 15-25 mph. As a result, highs should only range from the middle 50s to the middle 60s across the region.
The full effect of the cold front won’t be felt until we hit Monday! Through Sunday night and into Monday, our temperatures will drop to 32 degrees and below for most, if not all, of the ArkLaTex, officially becoming
