Iam still adjusting to going back to standard time, I think I am one of a handful of folks who would like to keep standard time all year long.
Our weather is starting to change as well, although we have had a few warm, Indian summer like days recently I can definitely feel autumn in the air.
Grapevines that are still standing are showing off their autumn colors, especially the red grape varieties along the rolling hills of the Central Coast.
The sycamore and cottonwood trees growing along the creek beds are showing off their red and yellow leaves as well.
I noticed the subtle changes as I made my way east last week, driving out on Highway 166 towards New Cuyama and Ventucopa beyond. The last little rain we received started the green grass growing on the hills, some trying to get going
