SAGINAW, MI — The East Side Soup Kitchen will partner with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and Hidden Harvest to provide a drive-thru food distribution event next week.

The distribution will take place from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day, in the parking lot of the East Side Soup Kitchen, 940 E. Genesee in Saginaw.

The collaboration is the latest initiative from local organizations to address individuals struggling during a period of uncertainty over federally-funded food assistance programs.
