Retired Superior Court Judge Jerry Tillett to run for NC Senate District 1 seat
Retired Superior Court Judge Jerry Tillett has announced his candidacy for the District 1 seat in the NC Senate. That seat is currently held by Republican Bobby Hanig, who is running for Congress next year in a reconfigured First Congressional District.
This past May, Tillett retired from the bench after more than three decades as a Superior Court Judge.
