A winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:24 p.m. valid for Sunday between 1 a.m. and noon for Herkimer, Hamilton, Warren, Washington and Fulton counties.

The weather service states, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch."

"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions," describes the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
