STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Residents who travel via the Staten Island Railway could potentially face delays, as the railway is partially suspended this weekend.
The railway will not run between Great Kills and St. George through 4 a.m. Monday.
This temporary and partial suspension is part of scheduled maintenance, according to the MTA.
The railway will continue to run from Tottenville to Great Kills over the weekend. As explained by the MTA, Great Kills-bound trains will be running on the Tottenville-bound tracks between Tottenville and Great Kills.
Free shuttles will be offered to passengers looking to continue traveling to other stops from Great Kills to St. George.
