Yup, rain is expected to push into the region by late afternoon.
As of 4:30 a.m., conditions across Newark and North Jersey are mostly cloudy but mild.
Temperatures sit around 51 degrees in Downtown Newark, 44 degrees in Morristown, 47 degrees in Haledon, 49 degrees in Edison, and a brisk 41 degrees in Sparta, Sussex County.
Forecasters say light rain will move in from the west as the day progresses, bringing a damp finish to what starts off as a comfortable fall morning.
