Motorists who were on a road between Hereford and Sutton are being urged to come forward with information after a man in his 80s died at the scene of a three car crash.

West Mercia Police said the crash, which involved a grey VW Polo, a black BMW1 series and a grey Mazda 6, happened on the C1125 between Hereford and Sutton St Nicholas at about 5.30pm on Saturday November 8.

A man in his 80s, who was driving the VW Polo, was pronounced dead at the scene, the force confirmed.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
