Up to five new homes could be built on an open agricultural field on the edge of a village between Gloucester and Tewkesbury .
The field, which is bordered by mature hedges and trees, is in Apperley close to the village hall and school.
The bid from Lockley Homes (Sandpiper TKL) seeks “permission in principle” for up to five dwellings — final design, layout, and landscaping would be handled later under a technical details application.
To the south of the proposed development site are existing houses on Apperley Park, with more residential development to the west off Deerhurst Road.
The north and east of the site are open countryside and access to the site would be created between numbers 45 and 47 Ap
