Motorists have been mounting pavements and curbs as frustration continues over the prolonged closure of a major stretch of A-road in Gloucestershire.
Police have described some of the driving as 'dangerous' and warn that the lives of pedestrians are being put at risk.
Roadworks have been extended on the A40 London Road in Charlton Kings following damage caused to the Hambrook Bridge back in May.
The closure of the road began in September for bridge repair work and is sending motorists on an official 12-mile diversion route.
