Terry Jo Duperrault was just 11 when her entire family were brutally murdered while they were all on the holiday of a lifetime. ‌

After the killings, young Terry was discovered drifting alone in the Caribbean Sea. ‌

Severely sunburned, dehydrated and barely conscious, she was clinging to a small cork raft - the sole survivor of a horrific massacre that had wiped out her entire family in November, 1961. ‌

The Duperraults were a well-loved family from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Arthur, a successful optometrist, had spent years putting money aside for what he described as a "once-in-a-lifetime vacation" - a sailing adventure through the Bahamas to escape another bitter winter up north.
