The suspected ringleader of a plot to kidnap five children and kill their parents has been filming a "Netflix documentary" from inside a Scots prison.

Valerie Hayes was one of three US citizens found living in Glasgow in 2018 after the FBI identified them as being behind the plot. She and her co-accused, Jennifer Amnott and Gary Reburn were sent back to America last month after spending seven years fighting to remain in Scottish prison.

In a call to the Daily Record from prison before her extradition, Hayes revealed she had been filming extensively for a TV documentary which she said would prove her innocence. Her lawyer confirmed the project and said other production companies had been queueing up to tell her story. But a source close to Hayes said she'd use the show to "cast doub
