McGill’s Group have discontinued their direct bus route connecting Aberdeen city centre to Edinburgh Airport for at least the winter period.

Only six months after the launch of the McGill’s service, the company has paused the Fly Aberdeen services which used to depart from Little John Street.

The firm offered eight services in each direction every day, with a journey time of 2 hours and 40 minutes via Dundee.

While it appears that the Dundee-Edinburgh leg is still running, Aberdeen will no longer benefit from the updated bus route over winter.
