Mountain rescue teams were called out after a man was thrown from a motocross bike in a crash over the weekend.
Paramedics along with specialist rescue teams from Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue responded on Saturday afternoon (November 8).
It followed reports a man had been injured after being involved in the incident near to Bacup and had come off his bike.

The casualty, whose age was not confirmed, had been riding up at Bacup MX Track when the crash occurred and suffered a back injury in the fall.
He was later transferred to the care of North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
