(WJET/WFXP)-- With the first snowfall of the season arriving overnight Sunday, Millcreek Township is reminding residents of their seasonal parking regulations and safety tips.
Winters in Erie as a whole can be difficult to manage, as last year's Snowmageddon demonstrated, and to help with mitigation, the township gave some helpful reminders to residents, like keeping mailboxes and fire hydrants clear and visible, along with keeping drains clear from any clogs caused by debris.
While it doesn't start until this Saturday, November 15, Millcreek's winter parking rules dictate that cars cannot be on township streets during snow removal to make sure they get cleared properly—Winter parking regulations in Millcreek end on April 15.
Cars that are left on the street will get ticketed according
