LATHAM - Everyone was a winner at in Latham on National Sandwich Day as the local food establishment bustled with lunchtime business, introduced three customers to the media, and crowned a new entry onto its own sandwich board for the year.

The culinary staff and owners culled the entries to select the top three, which were then taste-tested publicly by a hungry murderers' row of culinary talent to determine the top entry late in the morning of Nov. 3, National Sandwich Day.
