Oakdale Middle principal on leave; police investigating alleged sex abuse by former special educator

The principal is on leave at Oakdale Middle School, where allegations of sexual abuse led to the arrest of a former special education aide.

The school sent a notice on Nov. 4 saying Christine Samuels, the principal of Oakdale Middle, "remains on leave," but doesn't say why. Assistant Principal Brandy Brown is filling in as acting principal, the notice says.
