FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WKOW) -- A Menasha man entered a plea agreement with prosecutors in an arson case that involved Rep. Glenn Grothman's Fond du Lac office .
Caiden Stachowicz, 20, pleaded no contest to arson of a building without the owner's consent. The court accepted his plea and found him guilty.
As part of the agreement, the court dismissed two other pending charges against Stachowicz: attempted burglary of a building and criminal damage to property.
Investigators said Stachowicz admitted to starting the fire when he was questioned near the scene. He said he did it in response to the temporary TikTok ban in January 2025.
Stachowicz is scheduled to be sentenced on March 5, 2026. Restitution will also be discussed at that hearing.
