CULLMAN, Ala. —

A Cullman health clinic is facing a lawsuit from the state of Alabama, with Attorney General Steve Marshall accusing Aurora IV and Wellness of providing customers with dangerous weight-loss drugs.

Marshall's office said patients at the clinic thought they were getting common GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, but were instead injected with research-grade drugs that are not approved for human use.

A temporary restraining order is stopping the clinic from operating while the court reviews the case.

The next hearing is set for this Thursday.
