SKOWHEGAN, Maine (WABI) - A Waterville man is behind bars, after police say he robbed two Skowhegan businesses in one night.
40-year-old David Alvarez is in jail without bail.
Authorities tell Central Maine.com that police were called to George’s Banana Stand on North Avenue Sunday night around 7 for a reported robbery.
Two hours later, they responded to the McDonald’s on Madison Avenue.
No injuries were reported according to the publication.
An investigation led to the arrest of Alvarez on Monday.
Police say he is also facing charges for violating seven sets of bail conditions.
Alvarez is expected in court on Wednesday.
