A teenage girl was left petrified after 'hearing a man shouting stab threats in Sainsbury's toilets'.

The student was visiting the supermarket in Staffordshire when the incident took place, reports StokeonTrentLive.

Sharing details on Facebook , her mother said a man in a neighbouring cubicle in the ladies' toilets bellowed 'I'm going to f***ing stab you' shortly after 3pm yesterday (November 10).

The girl then fled the toilets and told her parents who'd just arrived what had taken place at the Newcastle-under-Lyme store.
