A knifeman who fatally stabbed a much-loved dad after the victim found the killer at his ex-partner's home has been jailed for more than five years.
Kai Sainz-Stafford knifed victim Sam Siviter three times with a blade he hid in a sofa at the address in Shrewsbury late on the night of May 1 this year.
It happened after the pair rowed when 35-year-old Mr Siviter discovered Sainz-Stafford, 24, at the address.
The injured victim escaped to a house in Lambourn Drive but collapsed and emergency crews were called. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sainz-Stafford, of no fixed address, fled but handed himself into police the next day. He admitted manslaughter at Stafford Crown Court during a trial today, Tuesday, November 11 and was jailed for five years and two months.
