PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police said a woman is lucky to be alive after someone fired several shots at her car while she was driving in Southwest Philadelphia on Thursday.
Police say it happened at around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 51st and Greenway Ave.
The 20-year-old victim told police that she had just left work and almost made it to her family's house when someone shot up her car while she was driving.
Three bullet holes can be seen on the driver's side window, high enough to hit the person in the front seat, but police said not a single bullet struck her.
The shooter also fired shots, hitting the windshield on the passenger side.
Police believe someone fired at least nine shots from the middle of the street, striking the car.
