The Drake men's basketball team lost on a last-second shot against SIU Edwardsville on Nov. 14 at the Knapp Center.

Ring Malith running jump shot with 1.2 seconds remaining gave the Cougars a 61-59 victory after Drake rallied from a 15-point deficit.

Andrew Alia and Wilguens Jr. Exacte led the Bulldogs (2-2) with 12 points apiece. Jalen Quinn and Okku Federiko each added 11 points. SIUE is 3-1.

Drake recovered from a horrible start – the Bulldogs missed 13 of their first 15 shots – but shot 48 percent in the second half to get back in it. SIUE outscored Drake 16-7 over the final seven and a half minutes, with Malith delivering two big shots in the final 37 seconds.
