A huge explosion close to a major airport has left at least 15 people in hospital, with flights cancelled and delayed as a fireball tore through an industrial site.
The blast ripped through an industrial park beside Argentina’s main international airport on Friday night, causing widespread disruption to flights in and out of Buenos Aires.
Shocking footage shows a fierce blaze sending thick black smoke into the sky before the site is consumed by a massive fireball that rises into a mushroom cloud. Alarms ring out as people run for safety, while the flames continue to spread.
Local outlets say the first explosion happened at around 9pm, followed by several smaller blasts. Buildings up to three miles away were shaken, with windows and ceilings damaged, according to the Daily S
