BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) -The School District of Beloit is welcoming back a familiar face to serve as interim superintendent.
In a vote Friday afternoon by the district’s board of education, Dr. Wayne Anderson was approved to begin the position, effective immediately.
He will replace Dr. Willie E. Garrison who submitted his resignation from the role in October . A reason for the resignation was not provided.
According to a release from the school district, Dr. Anderson will begin his service immediately, providing leadership during their superintendent search process.
Dr. Anderson was the superintendent at Mt. Horeb for 17 years as well as superintendent in Williams Bay for seven years.
He served as the Beloit district’s interim superintendent from July 2022 until Willie Garrison II was
