MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Runners, bikers and fishers spent their afternoons along the Monona bike trail Friday as pleasant November temperatures brought many people outside to enjoy the sun after last weekend’s snow.
“I went to the football game last Saturday and it was really cold, it was the first snowfall. It was nice that it snowed, but I was freezing,” said Kate Paulson, a UW-Madison student.
The warm weather provided a stark contrast to recent conditions that brought the first snowfall of the season.
“This weather feels so much better, so much more enjoyable, it almost feels like spring with the sun out,” Paulson said. “I’m really enjoying it.”
The spring-like temperatures didn’t fool Madison residents, who know that winter is coming soon.
