SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Team Peterson clinched its third straight U.S. Olympic Curling Team Trials victory with an 8-4 result against Team Cousins on Saturday night at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
On the men’s side, Team Shuster bounced back to beat Team Casper in a thrilling Game 2, 7-6, forcing a third and deciding match on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Tabitha Peterson’s rink, which includes Cory Thiesse (third), Tara Peterson (second) and Taylor Anderson-Heide (lead), will represent the United States at the 2025 Olympic Qualification Event next month in Kelowna, British Columbia, needing a top-two finish to secure their place in the 25th Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
