A popular park in Paisley has been sealed off after a woman was raped in a horror early morning attack.

The victim was within Brodie Park when she was seriously sexually assaulted by a man.

Officers raced to the scene after the incident was reported at around 4.45am on Sunday, November 11.

The park is currently sealed off as detectives carry out inquiries at the scene.

Images taken on Sunday morning show the park taped off as police carry out an investigation.

The cordon can be seen stretching around a large section of the grassy area.
