In a social media post this week, the team behind the popular brunch spot said: "Every good story has an ending — and ours has been full of warmth, caffeine, and community.
"As we close Kothel South, we want to say thank you for making this place what it was: a cosy little corner built on friendship and good coffee.
"While our doors may close, our hearts remain open, and who knows what the next brew of life will bring."
The original Kothel cafe launched on Crow Road in 2015, serving a menu of sandwiches, cakes, artisan breads and coffee.
The team opened a new Bearsden location in 2018, followed by a third on Great Western Road in 2019.
