New Mexico State's starting quarterback is not 100% determined for its upcoming rivalry game.
Starter Logan Fife took a big hit on a quarterback draw in the third quarter of the Aggies' 42-9 defeat against Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 15. While he remained in the game for one more play, backup Adam Damante played the remainder of the contest.
NM State coach Tony Sanchez said Fife is feeling "good" during a press conference on Monday, Nov. 17, but that he was "limping around" on Sunday evening when the two spoke. He's operating under the belief that Fife will play against UTEP on Saturday, Nov. 22, but Damante getting the start was not ruled out.
