QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. (KWQC) -- YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ERIK MAITLAND:
Monday night into Tuesday will bring periods of showers and even some thunderstorms. These storms could produce small hail, at times. Rainfall amounts will generally be a few tenths of an inch with areas that get storms possibly getting over half an inch. The rain will slowly begin during the evening hours Monday as there is a lot of dry air to overcome before the rain starts reaching the ground.
Tuesday will bring some lingering rain and as the system moves east will see the rain taper to sprinkles and then just drizzle before completely ending. Mainly cloudy skies will stick around for Wednesday with more rain possible to end the work week.
