BENNINGTON — The Francis of Assisi Society for Animals held “Catsgiving 2025” on Sunday at Harvest Brewing Company on South Street.
The event featured food by Carolina Thatch Catering, face painting, and music compliments of GVH music with Hera. While the business was filled with people that afternoon, a camper parked in adjacent alley held cats available for adoption.
A couple donated use of the camper for available cats to be viewed by interested members of the public. “Thankfully they had this camper, because it's too much to bring the cats in with all the people and the noise,” said Jackie Berry, leader of the Francis of Assisi Society. “But they’re all doing pretty good.”
More than 10 cats were inside the camper, lounging in cages.
This was the third annual Catsgiving. The Society
