ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - In the pathways of the new greenway, former residents hope their history and economic power, is brought to light.

It’s not open yet, but advocates hope that when this section of the Brickline Greenway opens, it will positively help local businesses, improve foot traffic and give college students in the area a safe place to walk to games and school.

In a mid-project update from community members, First Alert 4 was able to see a unique extension of the ongoing Greenway project near some of the city’s major sports complexes.

The section will officially open in the spring, but community members, artists and the Great Rivers Greenway provided an update to the project.
