A vet has shared what the optimal temperatures are for your cat to go outside, as it may sometimes be better for their health to stay inside.
As the temperatures are getting colder while winter is approaching, it can feel worrying to let you cat go outside to explore, especially seeing as there are guidelines for when it's too cold for dogs and other pets to go out on walks. Letting pets out when it's too cold can lead to health issues such as hypothermia and frostbite - which could be deadly if not treated. Some signs your cat is suffering from hypothermia include shivering (which can stop as it worsens), cold ears and paws, pale gums, confusion, weakness, and slow breathing.
