Tributes have been paid to a 'much-loved' father-of-four who died following a crash in Wombourne.

Steven Simpson was involved in a smash on Stourbridge Road, near Beggars Bush Lane, at 5.44am on Tuesday, November 4.

The 42-year-old, who lived in Bilbrook, was taken to hospital, where he died six days later on Monday, November 10.

In a tribute, released through Staffordshire Police, Steven's family said: "Steven was a much-loved father to four boys, a cherished son and brother.

"You are gone but will never be forgotten. Thank you for your strength and spirit in life.

"You live on through the memories we hold dear. Rest peacefully Ste."
