Police remained in a residential road today, Tuesday, November 17, more than 48 hours after a teenager was stabbed to death.

A manhunt was continuing to trace 17-year-old Oumar Traore after Yassin Alama, 19, was fatally knifed at the junction of Hutton Road and Stamford Road in Handsworth.

A cordon has been in place since around 5.20pm on Sunday, November 16.

This morning, several businesses remained inside a taped-off area while residents needed an escort to access their homes.
