McDonald's said it was 'deeply saddened' after a man died at one of its Midlands restaurants.
The man was found in a critical condition at the fast-food giant's Eccleshall Road restaurant in Stafford, on Monday evening (November 17).
Despite the best efforts of medics, nothing could be done to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said: "We are deeply saddened by this incident.
"We are supporting our restaurant team during this time whilst cooperating fully with the police in their ongoing investigation.
"The restaurant has reopened and is operating as usual.”
