MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday morning leaving two injured.

Police say shots were fired just after 7:15 a.m. in the 3000 block of Charles Place. This is near the Rhodes College campus.

Two people were found with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Investigators say they have two people currently detained.
