Three more people have been arrested after a man was found dead in a field in Kilmacolm earlier his month.
Robert Best was discovered after police were called to a report of a body being discovered in a field near High Mathernock Farm in the Inverclyde town at around 9.20am on Tuesday, November 11.
The man has been formally identified as the 50-year-old, who was reported missing from Greenock on the same day.
Andrew Brodie, 51, and Stephen Shields, 44, appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 12, charged with the dad's murder and an attempt to defeat the ends of justice. Both made no plea and were remanded in custody.
