Robert Snodgrass has recalled the "exceptional" time he enjoyed at Aston Villa and has praised Steve Bruce for revitalising his career.
Villa signed Snodgrass on a season-long loan in August 2017, and he went on to make 43 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals and providing 13 assists.
The winger netted late winners against Middlesbrough and Sheffield United - two standout moments from Villa’s spell in the second tier.
Snodgrass, however, couldn’t quite help Villa over the line in their bid to return to the Premier League, as Bruce’s side were defeated by Fulham in the 2018 Championship play-off final at Wembley. The following year, Dean Smith guided the club back to the top flight.
