The warm and muggy weather has continued this Tuesday - so warm that we have already broken the high temperature record with a high of 87° (previous record was 84°) and have most likely tied the record for warmest low temperature (70°)! Good news is, we are done with the near record temperatures tomorrow - the first round of storms arrive Wednesday night/Thursday morning! A Flash Flood Watch is already in effect for parts of Central Texas starting Wednesday night, with potential to add more counties later on. So, lets talk details.
There will be at LEAST two (maybe even three) rounds of storms in the next 72 hours. Round 1 arrives Wednesday night/Thursday morning, round 2 arrives Thursday night into Friday morning, and there will defintely be scattered showers in between each round.
