Trump administration drops Biden-era plan requiring airlines to pay passengers for delays
While this picket was nationwide— locally, Allegiant air pilots are picketing in Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Fort Lauderdale and St. Petersburg.
Pilots voted to authorize the strike and expressed no confidence in company leadership. The continuing problems with the company have caused experienced pilots to leave— threatening the airline’s ability to retain crews and maintain reliability.
