SHREVEPORT, LA. - Anglers across the region are gearing up for the Back Water Jons Thanksgiving Give Back Tournament, set for this Saturday on Caddo Lake.

The event will launch from the Earl G. Williamson boat ramp, with first cast scheduled for 6:15 a.m. and last cast at 3 p.m. Entry fees are $140 per boat, and both single and team anglers are welcome to compete. Participants will be able to weigh in up to four fish.

All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Salvation Army on Stoner Avenue. Surface Connection plans to match funds raised through entry fees, increasing the impact of the event. The Shreveport-Bossier Angler Association will also hold a split-the-pot fundraiser, and Rod Bender Baits will provide goodie bags for lucky winners.
