D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - D’Iberville soccer players are remembering the life of former teammate Landon Perry.
Perry was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter.

On Tuesday, the D’Iberville-Gautier soccer matchup looked like any other game on the schedule. But for the Warriors, it was much more as they handle the loss of their former teammate.
Before the matchup, the team shared the impact Perry had on them.
“To be honest, I can’t speak highly enough about him and his character. He was an excellent young man, to say the least,” Perry’s former coach, Brenden Nicholson, said.
“He always had the best advice, too. You could go to him, even if it was about soccer,
