KONA (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Kona couple arrested in a drug bust near Kealakehe Intermediate School was charged and then granted supervised release.
On Tuesday, the Hawaii Police Department arrested 37-year-old David Jossy and 36-year-old Amy Fattorosi after executing a narcotics search warrant at a home on Lapa Nui Street, across the street from the school.
Police said they found nearly 61 grams of cocaine and nearly 459 grams of marijuana.
The couple was charged with:
Promoting a dangerous drug in the first degree
Attempted promoting a dangerous drug in the first degree
Promoting a detrimental drug in the first degree
Promoting a controlled substance in, on, or near schools, school vehicles, public parks, or public housing projects or complexes
