BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont man has been convicted of federal drug trafficking charges after a three-day trial in the Eastern District of Texas, according to U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs.

A jury found Darrell Joshua Bendy, 42, guilty of conspiracy to possess and possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine on Nov. 19, 2025, following a trial before U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone.

According to information presented in court, Bendy supplied kilogram quantities of “actual” methamphetamine to a Beaumont drug trafficker, from December 2022 through November 2024. During the conspiracy, Bendy lived in Houston, where he conducted drug trafficking operations, and used couriers to deliver the drugs for redistribution.
