GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Housing Authority and Gorman & Company are celebrating a major milestone.
They’ve completed extensive renovations to the entire GBHA public housing portfolio, including the historic Mason Manor, an eight-story building with 152 units.
Residents celebrated the grand opening on Thursday.
All units are now accessible and energy-efficient, ensuring high-quality, affordable housing for residents.
“This building is not going anywhere, because it’s built like a brick house, and it will not go anywhere, and our improvements to this, I think, will last for decades to come,” said Ted Matkom, the Wisconsin market president for Gorman & Company.
Along with the Mason Manor renovation, 48 single-family and duplex units across Green Bay also received upgrades.
